In July, IMMAF became the 5th Early Adopter of the SIGA Universal Standards for Good Governance, Financial Integrity and Betting Integrity. The partnership permits third party, independent auditing by the Sport Integrity Global Alliance, headed by a coalition of world leading stakeholders in sport.
SIGA has partnered with the #BEACTIVE campaign during this week’s European Week of Sport #EWoS. See SIGA’s statement below.
In solidarity with the initiative, IMMAF will be joining in with SIGA’s campaign to promote the important role physical activity has to play in the lives of individuals and communities.
If you share this value, share and use the #BEACTIVE hashtag on social media.

SIGA STATEMENT OF SUPPORT FOR EUROPEAN WEEK OF SPORT
“We acknowledge the important role that the European Commission plays in sport and actively support the 2017 European Week of Sport.
“We share the values of the #BEACTIVE campaign and are committed to promoting the importance of physical activity and healthy lifestyles for all, particularly for younger generations. We have no doubt that the activities will help raise awareness about the issues at hand and help foster the much-needed cultural change, from grassroots up.
“We share the objectives that underpin this inspiring initiative and render our support to the Commission. As a result, we have teamed up with our members and committed supporters and intend to use the power of social media to promote, with a series of initiatives, the positive role of sport for the benefit of all European citizens.
“We believe it is time to usher sport into a new era where good governance and integrity are the number one priorities. The 2017 European Week of Sport is a great opportunity to work towards achieving this.”
